This year we went out to Sand Hallow Sand Dunes for our Thanksgiving festivities. We camped in the new campground. Took our Rhino and went dune-ing. Now that's the life and I am sure thankful that we are still able to enjoy these great times with awesome people. With some great friends and our family we made the most delish Turkey dinner! There was a dutch oven turkey that fell off the the bone, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, green bean casserole, mashed pototes and gravey, and pumpkin pie. You get it, the most basic dinner, but we did it all out in the sand.
The days there were 1 day beautiful, the 2nd day great till 1 and then the wind picked up. Not just a little wind, my a major wind....the sand was blowing. It didn't stop blowing all night long, and in the morning we packed up and came home. Guess what? The wind wasn't blowing at home!
