Today was Shane's 1st day of Kindergarten at Bloomington Hills Elementry! The Home of the BOBCATS! He was so excited to go that he wanted me to drop him off before he went to daycare even though he would have to wait for the rest of the kids for over an hour. His school is just around the corner from our house and it was almost torture for him to not be able to walk with the neighbor kids. I have to be to work at 8:00 and school doesn't start until 8:50. Instead of walking or riding the bus like most kids get to do, he gets to go in the daycare van every morning.
He sported a new Batman backpack, new shoes, new hair cut, and a new outfit. Even though his backpack was empty, we wore it proudly. HE'S A BIG KID NOW! :)

What a big boy he is!! He looks so cute in his new school clothes... I had to chuckle at the empty backpack, i'm sure he will fill it with all sorts sweet pencils, at least that is what I always did!
